In May, we learned that Kent had secured the FEED contract for INEOS Energy. Hejre project. Kent's responsibilities under this contract include the complete FEED design for the pipeline, tie-in spools, retrofit risers, and subsea power & fibre optics cable. Kent’s involvement in INEOS projects extends beyond Hejre. The company is also engaged in study work for their Greensands Carbon Capture and Storage project.
In June, Kent confirmed they had joined the Advancing Remote Operations (ARO) project as a core partner. This initiative, led by the Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC), is set to revolutionise the North Sea energy system. ARO aims to implement remote operations technology and optimised staffing practices to improve efficiency, extend asset life, and significantly reduce carbon emissions in the UK Continental Shelf.
Last month, Kent announced that it had signed a three-year global enterprise framework agreement with Shell for commissioning and start-up operations across a wide range of onshore and offshore facilities. This contract encompasses a wide range of energy sectors, including oil, gas, and new energy initiatives, and reinforces Kent's opportunity to enhance project execution and efficiency globally.
Congratulations to Usman Darr and the team at Kent team on this hat-trick of contract wins.
