1. Our core values
"We are a responsible organisation committed to developing and upholding high corporate social responsibility standards. We operate fairly and transparently, and we will work proactively to build a culture of integrity and trust within our workforce and across our wider stakeholder community."
2. Our people
"We take responsibility for the workforce's training, development, and well-being at all levels, irrespective of background. We strive to create the policies and culture required to realise equality, diversity and inclusion throughout the engineering contracting sector. We oppose modern slavery and human trafficking and will never knowingly conduct business with suppliers who engage in such practices."
3. Our planet
"We are pivotal in meeting the triple challenge of securing social progress, economic growth, and environmental stewardship. We are committed to sustainable development and support the UK government's commitment to reduce the nation's net emissions of greenhouse gases by 100% relative to 1990 levels by 2050."
4. Our Association
"We share an ambition to advance the engineering contracting sector in the UK. We support BCECA's five-year strategy and engage proactively with the Association's governance, projects, and work programmes. We participate in outreach activities with apprentices and undergraduates and contribute data and knowledge to build a collective understanding of developments in the sector."
Board representatives from BCECA member companies embrace the Charter to pursue good environmental, social, and corporate governance across sectors that contribute to the UK economy and global human progress. If your company is involved in the engineering contracting sector and you share our values, why not join our community?
