Published to mark International Women's Day 2025, the Women in Trade Association's Power List is compiled by a panel of judges drawn from prominent UK organisations, including the Confederation of British Industry, the Federation of Small Business and the Trade Association Forum. The list features 100 women who are recognised as inspirational leaders and powerful advocates for diversity and inclusion in their sectors.
Reacting to news of her recognition, Tracey said:
"I'm proud to lead an association whose members have pledged to take responsibility for the training, development, and well-being of the workforce at all levels - irrespective of background. BCECA strives to create the policies and culture required to realise equity, diversity and inclusion throughout the engineering contracting sector. This year's Power List includes some remarkable women leaders working at all levels in trade bodies that represent a wide range of industry sectors. It's an honour to be included in their ranks three times in a row."
Tracey joined the BCECA in 2013 and took the lead in repositioning and rebranding the trade association in preparation for its 50th anniversary. The new brand and value proposition were unveiled at a celebration in Westminster in June 2016, attended by senior figures from the UK engineering contracting sector. Tracey is BCECA's first female leader and first Chief Executive Officer, having successfully guided the Association to limited company status in 2017.
The companies that come together under the BCECA umbrella represent a powerful knowledge base that offers unbeatable commercial, technical design and project management expertise. Under Tracey's executive leadership, BCECA provides a collective voice for the engineering contracting companies that are delivering the UK energy transformation.
